The statistics are staggering. One might think that the world we are living in is so saturated by humans that we are nearing an apocalyptic end because the earth can no longer sustain us all. Every time we talk about the scarcity of jobs, we are of course inherently declaring the abundance of humans, the abundance of talent and the abundance of knowledge. The question that we need to answer is this: How can all the talented, gifted, passionate, skilled, and knowledgeable people find a sweet spot in life that is not necessarily a job, offer their contribution and at the same time make a profit? How can they balance their psychic income (that joy of fulfilment of doing the thing that they love), with the much-needed financial or monetary income? Why is it that there are gifted people all over the world who go about performing their ‘gigs’ for a paltry beggar’s fee daily? How come we have knowledgeable and skilled people the world over and yet we have an abundance of “jobless” people all over the place?
