Stephen Warren Tirwomwe’s Mission Impossible tells a compelling story about a lifetime of faith, courage, and relentless perseverance. Beginning with the story of how his parents became a couple, this book reflects on the early Christian influences in the schools and institutions that shaped the author’s life to date.
A perilous trek on foot from Mukono to Kamwezi, through the deadly front lines of both Amin’s forces and the liberators, depicts a near-fatal encounter that could have been avoided yet serves as a testament to divine protection. Stephen survived and went on to build a successful career, not just in Uganda, but also in the United Kingdom.
After returning to Uganda, the author took on the leadership of All Saints’ Cathedral, Kampala, transforming it into a thriving spiritual, social, and financial centre, leaving a profound impact on the cosmopolitan congregation.
In this powerful memoir, Stephen recounts these impossible feats, revealing a life full of faith-driven decisions and remarkable outcomes. It is an inspiring account of one individual’s unshakable resolve and trust in God, proving that what may seem impossible is within reach when guided by faith.
