Dr David Kantaale Kazungu is a celebrated Ugandan academic, politician, and humanitarian dedicated to education and community development. Residing in Kamuli District, he is a father to the former President of Makerere University Students Guild and has served as a Member of Parliament during a pivotal time in Uganda’s history.

In 1997, he was appointed Uganda’s ambassador to France, Spain, Greece, and UNESCO, promoting Uganda’s interests abroad. Dr Kazungu holds a PhD in Agricultural Economics from Makerere University, where he inspires students to prioritise education as a transformative tool.

A passionate advocate for the youth and health care, he has significantly contributed to upgrading Kamuli Health Centre IV to a District Referral General Hospital. Through his endeavours, Dr Kazungu strives to uplift his community and foster a brighter future for the people of Uganda.
