Featuring 90 vivid stories from Old Boys, this book is both a celebration of legacy and a masterclass in leadership, organisational change, and the power of collective vision.

Description

Best of the Best – Made in Ntare School tells the gripping story of a school’s resurrection from near ruin to extraordinary resurgence. In the late 1980s and early 1990s, Ntare School, once a symbol of excellence, had fallen into academic and disciplinary decline. Under the visionary leadership of Mr Stephen Kamuhanda, a bold new chapter unfolded.

This compelling narrative chronicles the transformation driven by strategic staffing, strengthened discipline, and a historic shift in school culture—including the controversial decision to fence a previously boundaryless campus. With pivotal contributions from student leaders, notably through a landmark 1995 debate in the dining hall, Ntare’s spirit was rekindled. The result: renewed academic vigour and a generation of alumni who have gone on to excel across the globe.

More than a school story, this book is a masterclass in organisational change, collective vision, and the enduring power of legacy. It also features 90 captivating stories from Old Boys, capturing high school experiences that shaped their lives and achievements.
