Ma-Atepi, My Hero

Overview

This story abstracts the journey of a father and the lessons learnt from the many escapades that appear everyday-like yet are loaded with life lessons that give an advantage in life.

Description

If your father is not ‘the man’ in your life, this book might not be for you.

Fathers go through so much and say so little about what they go through. Many times they sacrifice much more than others are able to see. It takes a special kind of father to open up to his child about some of what he has been through. It takes an ardent child to appreciate beyond the stories of their father and what he has been through. It involves conformity to be able to take lessons from a father’s life and stories. It takes Grace for a child to decode from a father’s stories that she needs to be better than her parents’ generation and to do her children justice inspiring them to outshine those that have lived before them.

About The Author

Priscillah Love is a force to be reckoned with – unapologetically black and fiercely proud of her Ugandan roots. With her faith, family, and friends at the forefront of her life, she lives each day with purpose and intention. As a skilled physiotherapist, she helps others find healing and strength. But when she’s not working, she loves to indulge in her passions: watching cooking shows, cheering on her favorite sports teams, and tending to her garden. Through it all, Priscillah remains true to herself, living life on her own terms and inspiring others to do the same.
